The Big Idea

Idea Shop is a pop-up agency by Ogilvy & Mather UK. Volunteers from across Ogilvy & Mather UK give up their own time to come and give free ideas to small businesses, charities, entrepreneurs and community projects. It’s our way of giving back whilst doing what we do best.

Our History

Idea Shop began life in a Brixton Market in 2010. Since then we’ve visited Roman Road in East London, occupied a shop on Oxford Street for Social Media Week London, and featured at Marketing Week Live.

What Happens

The people who come to Idea Shop get an hour and a half of thinking time each, during which volunteers from across Ogilvy attempt to solve a marketing or advertising problem for them. It’s then up to the client to make those ideas happen.
